The clients I often collaborate with are international students and expats working in Taiwan. During counseling, I provide eclectic therapy which combines need-based approach and multicultural counseling. I assist individuals in exploring their current needs, while considering systematic perspectives as well. I am sensitive to the cultural background, values and worldviews of individuals. Moreover, I help individual clients increase both self-awareness and ecological awareness by clarifying their contextual self and their outer world, then explore their potential strengths to develop coping skills that facilitate change.
